11:35 - the preliminary finals have begun. Very tough competition, I would not like to be an entrant with these ladies!

11:15 - The heats have just concluded at Myer Fashions on the Field at a gloriously sunny Flemington Racecourse. The competition is fierce, with a stunning array of beautifully dressed entrants all vying for today's winner's sash.
