High Fashion High Tea for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week presented by Kangan Institute and the Westin Melbourne

DSC_0401 CroppedWhat happens when you combine Kangan Institute millinery students, graduates and high tea at The Westin? You get one fabulous perfect afternoon! I was thrilled to be invited as a guest to enjoy an indulgent high tea whilst checking out a showcase parade from Kangan Institute's graduates and current students.Hosted as a part of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week in The Westin's Lobby Lounge, the space was decked out with displays of millinery and piles of delectable savoury and sweet treats.

Fred Hates Fashion MSFW 2015

Fred Hates Fashion was back for it's third year, and this time as part of the official Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW) program. I had the pleasure of attending the very first FHF show and it was so good to see how much it has grown since then.Docklands Studios was the perfect venue for Fred Hates Fashion on a cold and rainy Melbourne night. With a heavy emphasis on young emerging and independent designers the night was not just for fashion, but featured film, composers and creatives coming together. Featured designers were Vincent Li, Alabama Blonde, Jasmine Alexa, Gabrielle Brown and Yesterday's Virgins. The Fred Hates Fashion crew should be so proud! My photos can't do justice to the night- clothes aside so much of the show was the music, the film and the energy of the audience, but I do hope you enjoy.
